Our Story

The Hourcade-Hoefliger Family Foundation was established in 2024 with a simple vision: every human deserves a life of dignity, safety, freedom, opportunity, and an education to shape their own future.

From wars and natural disasters across the globe to poverty on our streets, we will not accept human suffering without acting to alleviate it.

For us, that means utilizing our resources and time to help reduce suffering and create new opportunities for others wherever we can. We believe we carry a responsibility to act rather than sit in indifference and to simultaneously engage directly with the communities we aim to serve to understand how we can be most effective together.

We invite those who share this privilege to join us in the fight to end suffering, not only through philanthropy, but by showing up on the ground, volunteering, and organizing those around us to improve the world however we can.
